Vaginoplasty - Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure that concerns the external genital area of women. The corrective methods applied in this procedure can restore the appearance of the labia and enhance the self-confidence of women, regardless of age, who experience problems in their sexual life due to labial deformities.

Labial dysplasia can have various causes, such as genetic anomalies, trauma during or after childbirth, chronic dermatitis, sexual abnormalities, masturbation, granulomatous diseases, or prolonged use of hormones.

Women who have deformities in the labia, whether due to excessive enlargement or small size, or those who are dissatisfied with their shape or have problems like inflammation, difficulty walking, or lack of self-confidence during sexual intercourse, may be suitable candidates for the procedure.

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia and typically takes about 30-60 minutes. The patient can return home the same day, and the healing period lasts from 4 to 6 days.

After the procedure, the patient should take care of the hygiene of the area with daily antiseptic washes, typically 3-4 times a day, to ensure proper recovery.
